Monday, December 14, 2009 Had CCI CFA Annual Dinner at Grassroot Club ytd night.. We did the norm, shouted a lot, got a 3rd prize, with a bottle of red wine and lots of choc in it..Table 6(us) decided to open up the prize and finish it... had half a cup of red wine, a lot of choc, then we went the club,club48 which is just ouside of the function room to watch the match btw Chelsea and Everton. We got in and TF and K got a jug of beer..then i tried..1st time drinking beer..then yadayada..then glen wanted coke. then we found out that there is coke + liquor.so we ordered a jug and share as well.. so we watched soccer and drank abit and some played pool.. RedWine + Beer + Coke&Liquor = Headache & slight fever. coudn't slp last night man..was flipping and turning around...woke up with a heavy head and felt feverish..got panadols and slept from 330 to 6, now feeling better but aching everywhere.. Lesson learnt: nv mix the things you drink.. Brandon (hope to be fully recovered before flying off)
Sunday, November 22, 2009 Thanks for the Tony Roma's Treat, Hairil! Ytd we had a last min outing with Hairil & RX at Tony Roma. Actually wanted to ask the whole SHINGZ out but too last min and can't really get everyone's no. to go down, maybe we'll hang out again some other time, with earlier planning =) We met at 9++ at night and then went to eat. We're like the last grp of pple eating in the restaurant. Ytd only got JieQi, Jasper, RX, Hairil and me. Next time will have more! Before i went to meet RX and Hairil, i went to Queensway with ChwanRong, Glen, InnSiang. Hahaha! today going out with my online friends to dhoby ghaut exchange to eat. Still wanna learn malay~ Do i look like a Korean? I seemed to have a lot of combination of a mix huh... got Indonesia/Japanese/Korean/German/China.... + Singapore = Brandon oo still got what country sia~
Friday, November 20, 2009 Back from Camp and back to blogging. SHINGZ ROCKS SIOL~ Day 1 Btw, my blog was dead for months and now starting to blog again since there is time. This camp was a camp that i was anticipating to go and rah-rah with my class 0926B. But then, who knew that it wasn't with our own class but its with other RAQUILA members (Rasalas + Aquila). Everyone was upset and unhappy, wanted to go back home,etc, escape away from the camp. We got ourselves into the different groups and i was in grp 3.1. I only knew 2 people there, i guess, Rayne and AiLing. Then the INNOTREK Trainers came and started the icebreakers. Everyone was like 'what-the-heck' attitude siol~ Then a 'Greened-eye man' and a 'Fireman' came. RiXiang & Hairil. Hairil was our in-charge. He said that he'll randomly choose a leader and he'll change leader everyday. Then RX chose a random index no. which then, realized that the person wasn't here then Hairil decided me. oo I was like okay~ Then after that, we headed to the campsite. Spirits down. We got to the place and settled down and we started with the naming for our group. We were like the last group to come up with both the group name and cheers (among the other 2 groups that are at the girls' dom area). Finally, we came up with the name "SHINGZ", 3 cheers, 2 counter cheers and woah!, we're great after we practiced for awhile!! Then, we went for the camp challenge, our 1st activity for Day 1. 1st we had to go down the slide into a mud pool (milo pool). It was really fun cause you can really feel the excitement. I thought that this was rather a good way to break the ice btw us, making us more 'open' to play and just to have fun ^^. Then, we went to play "Leap of Faith"(rope skipping; where there is an ultra long rope and ALL the group members have to be jumping at the same time! We struggled for quite some time BUT!! we managed to get the best record of 7 mass jumps! SWEET SIOL~ Then, there is rafting. Also, "Whale Watch"(see-saw; where every member must get on top and balance it, making it horizontal to the ground for the longest time. AND! WE GOT A RECORD OF 47s!! BEST SIOL! Then we have the low wall. Its the height of me with my hands stretched up straight. (1.83 ++). Anyw, we completed it in a RECORD of 1.22mins (having all 17 pple went up the wall)!!! SUPER SIOL~ Then at night, got night walk. Day 2 Reported at 0720, went for a SALTY breakfast. OMG! The most 'salty-est' & 'oily-est' beehoon ever!! Then, we went for land-expedition, completed only 4, but it was fun and nice to see how our group worked together at challenges and to beat the sun while traveling around with heavy vehicles zooming past us every time. Then we got back to the campsite early at 11 becos we were told to get back there at that time. On our way back, our head of camp i/c (Mimi) came in a van to give us freezing cool water for refuel..BEST SIOL~so cool and nice!! We were the earliest and sat down and waited for them for so LONG SIOL.. After which, we had.....ANOTHER SALTY LUNCH!!! (the chicken rice smelt damn nice..but it's SALTY!!!) OMG! the supplier cook the things with salt siol, wash the rice with salt and cook it with salt water. or maybe there is a fall in the price of NaCl this period...SO DAMN SALTY LA~ Then when we're suppose to go for our next activity, which is kayaking, then rain..all of us have to then rot at the canteen (huge tentage). Prepare our cheer. Suddenly, despite the rain, (perhaps no more lightning risk, we're allowed to go kayaking.) All of us changed and set out. BUT!! Suaysuay, when we're about to set out to the sea, then storm came and we can't go !! AHA DAMN IT SIOL! We had to carry the kayak back..nv play/use the kayak but have to keep.. Then, went back to campsite, rain subsided. so there will campfire. Then, our group and another group (3.2) have to buddy up and come out with a campfire performance.. but we had no idea or whatsoever.. Jasper stood up and took the lead.(thanks dude, saved me, allowing me a catch a breathe). We came out with an idea but didn't had time to finalize it and teach the rest of the pple.. I was worried sick, cos other groups were like super prepared with so many performances (skit,dance,drama,musical, etcs) whereas we got nth much. Everyone was still unsure of what to do.I don't wanna go up and embarrass myself siol~then luckily, Sarania (hope I didn't spell it wrongly) and co. wanted to do more. Of cos I agreed cos i don't want malu myself siol. We decided to dance to an indian song! (nice song btw).. we had dancers that came out with some moves... Unfortunately, we don't have time to prac the moves. Everyone only knew how to dance a part of MJ's Thriller.. so we went for our dinner, luckily it wasn't salty. Then we had our campfire. All group had time to prep, only us. They were all high and ready to go..we saw them perform and then suddenly its our turn... We did a skit + musical. We told a ghost story and then danced thriller and then danced Bollywood dance.. kinda like freestyle for the Bollywood dance cos we ain't had time to prac. + a cheer that represented our group(3.1 & 3.2). I was like losing my balance while dancing and the light was so glaring, thanks to the audience's glaring torches...but I seriously enjoyed it siol! so fun despite we didn't really prepare. I enjoyed and i think we all enjoyed our performance. Then, the time after the campfire was for us to mingle with our classmates..friends and etcs... It was a cold and windy, rainy night. Freezing... then in the middle of the night, Hairil suddenly come into our bunk. Actually we wanted to talk then all very sleepy and after his trainer debrief, we were all alseep, but not sound asleep. Hairil came and then I woke up after awhile..then Firdaus's hp ringed cos got msg from his "mum" then he woked up and saw Hairil..then talk talk awhile...Hairil said that we have to wash toilet. Then I thought we have to wake up and wash toliet now siol~then he say tmr..LOL!then he went off, then we went back to sleep. Day 3 Area Cleaning Day. Ytd, our teachers said that they will talk to the trainers to let our group have the kayaking expedition today, but seems like we didn't have it afterall...hahas nvm. Anyw, we also had fun cleaning, despite we have to wash the toilet. There was a dead frog inside the toilet bowl siol~ faggot siol. then we have to flush it down...you can see it spin and turn and twirl...== anyw, after the cleaning, we decided to take photo, OUTSIDE THE TOILET.LOLS. We paka with RX to use the dish-washing bucket which has all the food smell that we had... and pour clean water onto him while we pose for photo..hahas!he kena the water siol. hahas!!and RX even got the shot of him kena water.. Cheered, took pictures, and went back to the multi-purpose hall to gather for closing speech. Our group (3.1 SHINGSZ) WON the best camper group AWARD!! SHIOK SIOL~ (still can remb that Hairil only take groups that can be 1st, and at 1st he and hs friends had not much hope on us but we surprised him with the BEST GROUP AWARD!! Hahas, he didn't broke his chain huh... Reaching IJ After we reached IJ, some headed to cwp's Burger King for lunch =) Me,Faiz, Jasper, RX, Hairil, Dinna, Nabilah, AiLing, Rayne went to eat. Then Firdaus came to join us later..we were eating,chatting,etcs, until after our food,an instructor from MOE campsite came with his grp..he had an attitude problem sia..damn rude. He pissed RX off and Hairil fooled with him...and we had a laugh afterwards.. hahas! some guy name Winston (with a carebear on his bag==) Then, we all decided to go back cos most of the pple have to go. We agreed to hang out some other time to play .. hahas!! Fireman and the Greened-eye man! SHINGZ ROCKs!!!!!!! Thanks you guys for making it such a cool, fun,enjoyable camp =) Thanks Hairil and RX, now I'm talking with the SIOL~(malay style) LOLS! (you guys made me wanna learn malay siol~)
